Centerline Performance Chiropractic provides mobile equine chiropractic care for horses across Tennessee. Whether your horse is a competitive athlete, weekend trail partner, young horse in training, broodmare, or retiree, each appointment is tailored to the individual horse and their needs.
With a background in both chiropractic and equine science, Dr. Ashley Himmelsbaugh takes a whole-horse approach to care, looking beyond individual areas of restriction to consider movement, symmetry, history, workload, training, and other factors that may influence how a horse feels and performs.
Why Horse Owners Schedule an Evaluation
There isn't one universal sign that tells you a horse "needs an adjustment." Changes in movement, comfort, behavior, or performance can have many possible causes, which is why evaluation matters.

Owners commonly schedule equine chiropractic appointments when they notice:

Chiropractic care can also be used alongside appropriate veterinary care, rehabilitation, training, conditioning, farriery, and other services as part of a horse's overall management.
What to Expect During an Equine Chiropractic Appointment
1. History
We'll begin by discussing your horse's history, current workload, discipline, previous injuries or health concerns, and any changes you've noticed in movement, behavior, or performance.
2. Examination
Each horse receives a chiropractic examination that includes:
 - Range of motion assessment of joint and spinal movement to identify areas of altered or restricted motion.
 - Observation of the horse in motion to evaluate movement patterns, symmetry, and how the horse uses their body.
 - Hands-on assessment of the musculature to identify areas of tension, tenderness, asymmetry, or other findings that may relate to the horse's movement and function.
3. Chiropractic Adjustment
Based on the examination findings, specific chiropractic adjustments are performed to address areas of restricted joint motion and support normal mobility and function.
4. Recommendations
After the adjustment, I'll discuss my findings with you and provide individualized recommendations. This may include follow-up care, exercises or stretches, rehabilitation considerations, or referral to another member of your horse's healthcare team when appropriate.

No two horses receive exactly the same treatment. Each appointment is based on the individual horse's history, examination findings, and needs.
Centerline Performance Chiropractic is a mobile practice based in Henderson, Tennessee, providing equine chiropractic care throughout West Tennessee and traveling to other areas of Tennessee by arrangement.
Appointments can be scheduled for individual horses, multiple horses at the same barn, training facilities, clinics, and equestrian events.
Barns with multiple horses may qualify for reduced or shared travel fees.

Returning Patient: Approximately 30–45 minutes

Travel fees may apply based on distance from Henderson, Tennessee. Appointments with multiple horses at one location may be eligible for discounted travel fees.
Every horse is evaluated individually. The examination helps identify areas of altered joint motion, muscular tension, and movement asymmetry so that care can be tailored to the findings of that horse.
